Troubleshooting Guide

Installation advice

We do recommend you use a computer with a hard internet connection whenever possible and connect with the cable. This is good to ensure you are regularly backing up your device as well with the cable. Keep this physical back-up safe on your computer or external hard-drive.

If you are downloading directly to your device, for best results, ensure you have a strong WiFi connection to download and install all Enfour applications. But it is best to not use any other device functions during the download.

When using a Desktop computer and iTunes synchronization to install, read the following!

• Make sure you have the latest versions of iTunes and i OS.
• We recommend that you restart both your mobile device and Desktop before syncing.
(Reset your iOS Device by holding down the Power On Switch until "slide to power off" is displayed and sliding that.)

Never break a connection during installation or backup. If backup takes too long for you, turn off automatic backup and perform manually. (Report your issue to Apple)

Any problems that may occur during installation, syncing or backup are NOT a bug or fault caused by this software.

1. I can't hear the sounds when tapping on the speaker icon? (iPhone)

All sounds in Enfour applications respect the user settings for sounds.

For iPhone users ensure that the "silent mode" switch is not on.

The silver button on the top right of the screen needs to be flicked towards the screen.

Also, ensure the volume for sounds is at an audbile level. The volume controls are on the top right of the screen just below the manner mode switch.

2. I can't hear the sounds when tapping on the speaker icon? (iPod Touch)

All sounds in Enfour applications respect the user settings for sounds.

For iPod Touch users ensure that you are using your headphones and the volume is at an audible level.

For older model iPods, General Settings -> Sound ensure that sound effects are turned on for headphones/speakers or both.

3. General poor performance of the application

Whenever you feel the performance of the application is sluggish, icons are not clear or you see a crash, the first thing to try is to reboot your device. Hold down the power key and the home key together for a few moments until you see the "Slide to Power Off" dialog.

Wait a few moments and then power up again.

Also, ensure you have the latest version of the dictionary downloaded and installed correctly.
